About this role:This role is within the India CIB CAO Strategy Implementation team, responsible for high priority initiatives of one or more processes for the global CIB organization. As an individual contributor, the incumbent would formulate organization wide strategy and policy, quarterback implementation of priority deliverables, and may serve on LOB/ Organization wide tasks or project teams. The incumbent would be expected to independently manage execution and end to end delivery of key initiatives, projects and/or plans across a global organization, actively participate in global budgeting conversations, device offshoring strategy, projects/ process enhancements and encourage creative thinking amongst the team.
In this role you will: The individual will be responsible for several high priority deliverables for CIB CAO leadership with the intent to perform a horizontal review on key themes including risk and control framework, capacity, target operating models, and organizational restructures while working directly with senior leaders across the broader organization. This individual will build unique front to back subject matter expertise to assist CIB line of business leads on complex, diverse and challenging strategic initiatives designed to improve operating model, efficiency, controls, and regulatory compliance.
Partner with teams within and outside of CIB CAO/COO to develop and execute on target operating model
Convert business problem statements into cost effective, scalable, reliable & user-friendly recommendations
Lead large scale projects and initiatives within a complex environment, impacting global lines of business
Identify opportunities for increasing efficiencies with measurable business outcomes and improvements
Review & tracking of budget & efficiency targets
Assist LOB managers to ensure ToM (target operating model) aligns to regulatory & risk management priorities
Review and recommend implementation plan for risk & control policies in alignment with regulatory standards
Recommend robust governance structures for control oversight, including but not limited to training modules, tracking metrics and regular governance meetings/submissions.
Support and manage the delivery of the division's strategic programs in a high quality, cost effective, timely and sustainable manner with risks and issues identified, prioritized, escalated and managed in a timely and open manner
Partner with LOB owners to implement projects that solve key regulatory and operational needs
Perform root cause analysis to propose ideas that improve front to back processing across the trade lifecycle
Work on Proof of Concepts (POC's) with third party vendors to determine the path forward on contracts, whilst considering longer term internal strategic solutions
Possess superior verbal and written communication skills
Collaborate with senior leaders across the CAO team leads globally to create executive ready presentations
Present information to persuade, educate, and enhance understanding at all levels
Drive complex issues and deliverables into effective outcome-oriented conversations
Lead and facilitate cross-team forums that help identify and solve issues on behalf of CAO leadership
Liaise with CIB Control, Compliance, Legal, Technology, Finance and functional teams on enterprise initiatives
Maintain a harmonious relationship with global stakeholders, effectively syndicating on relevant issues, influencing to arrive at the right decisions
Interact and communicate with the business partners / requestors on a regular basis and effectively manage expectations
Institute sturdy communication channels with business partners to manage escalations and take proactive steps to avoid any form of escalations
Assist in onboarding new Shared Services teams including setting up processes, procedures and controls
Ability to independently drive strategic and global initiatives with minimal guidance, and arrive at decisions working across different levels
Required Qualifications
4+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired qualification:
MBA or an advanced degree (or equivalent experience)
4+ years of capital markets industry with a top tier bank and/ or project management experience is preferable

Candidate should have advanced knowledge of excel & PowerPoint and be able to produce impactful executive communication & presentations for senior leadership consumption
