What You'll Do

As BCG X continues to scale across Asia Pacific, we are seeking a Talent Manager - X Delivery based in Gurugram to lead staffing and talent deployment for our Build & Analytics population.

This role sits within the AP Staffing & People function, reporting into the X AP Staffing Director, and is accountable for delivering high-quality staffing outcomes while shaping talent strategy for X Delivery.
You will operate as a regional staffing leader for X Delivery, balancing business demand, client priorities, and individual development goals. In parallel, you will lead a small team and drive continuous improvement across staffing processes, insights, and workforce planning.

Key responsibilities include:

Staffing and Deployment Leadership

  • Own end-to-end staffing outcomes for BCG X Delivery (Build & Analytics) across AP, ensuring optimal deployment aligned to business priorities and individual development goals
  • Drive demand-supply matching across projects, proposals, and internal initiatives, making clear, high-quality staffing decisions
  • Maintain a forward-looking view of the staffing pipeline (short- and long-term), identifying risks and opportunities early
  • Partner with senior stakeholders (X Delivery leadership, case teams, product teams) to align on priorities, staffing trade-offs, and resource allocation
  • Ensure strong governance of staffing decisions, including fairness, diversity considerations, and transparency
  • Act as the primary point of contact for talent, providing guidance on staffing choices and career development trade-offs.

Talent Development & Experience

  • Embed development priorities into staffing decisions, ensuring individuals receive opportunities aligned to their growth goals
  • Build trusted relationships with engineers, analysts, and product talent to understand preferences, strengths, and development areas
  • Reinforce career development messaging in partnership with People, HR, and CDC stakeholders
  • Own onboarding experience for new hires within X Delivery, ensuring strong initial staffing and integration into the business
  • Provide input into performance and people discussions, contributing to a consistent and high-quality talent experience

Strategic Planning & Insights

  • Identify patterns across staffing, skills, and demand to inform workforce planning and hiring priorities
  • Provide data-driven insights to AP leadership on utilization, capacity gaps, and emerging skill needs
  • Partner with Recruiting and leadership to shape cohort composition and future talent needs
  • Anticipate shifts in business demand and proactively adjust staffing strategies

Team Leadership & Operations

  • Lead and develop a team of 2-3 staffing specialists, driving performance, capability building, and engagement
  • Set clear priorities and ensure high-quality execution across all staffing activities
  • Oversee accuracy and transparency of staffing data, systems, and reporting
  • Manage escalations and ensure timely resolution of complex staffing challenges

Change Management & Process Excellence

  • Lead the evolution of staffing processes for X Delivery, building scalable and efficient operating models
  • Identify inefficiencies and drive simplification, standardization, and automation
  • Define and track KPIs to measure staffing effectiveness and continuously improve outcomes
  • Drive adoption of new processes and tools through stakeholder alignment, communication, and training


What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 8+ years of experience in staffing, talent management, HR business partnering, or similar roles
  • Experience operating in complex, fast-paced, and stakeholder-heavy environments
  • Interest in digital product development (engineering, analytics, product, design)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Fluency in English
