Job Description: BBS Engineer
Experience: 4–5 Years
Location: Thane/Dadar
Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled BBS (Bar Bending Schedule) Engineer with 4–5 years of experience in RCC and structural works. The candidate should be proficient in reading structural drawings, preparing accurate BBS, raising RFIs, and closely following up on drawings and engineering deliverables to support timely execution at site.

Key Responsibilities
• Prepare Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) from approved structural drawings (RCC & steel as applicable).
• Interpret and analyze structural drawings, GFC drawings, and revisions accurately.
• Raise RFIs for discrepancies, missing information, or clarification in drawings.
• Coordinate with structural consultants, designers, and project teams for resolution of RFIs.
• Track and follow up on drawing submissions, approvals, and revisions.
• Ensure timely availability of approved drawings and deliverables to site teams.
• Support quantity take-offs, reconciliation, and material planning for reinforcement steel.
• Maintain records of drawings, RFIs, and BBS revisions.
• Assist in billing, reconciliation, and variation analysis related to reinforcement quantities.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and quality standards.

Required Skills & Competencies
• Strong knowledge of RCC drawings, detailing, and BBS preparation.
• Proficient in AutoCAD / Excel (mandatory).
• Good understanding of construction sequences and site execution practices.
• Ability to independently raise, track, and close RFIs.
• Strong coordination and follow-up skills with consultants and internal teams.
• High attention to accuracy, detail, and timelines.

Qualification
• Diploma / BE / BTech in Civil Engineering.
• 4–5 years of relevant experience in BBS & structural engineering support.

• Experience in high-rise buildings / infrastructure / industrial projects.
• Exposure to consultant coordination and EPC project environments.
