Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, India, for a Battery Test Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for developing and executing battery testing plans, building cells in the laboratory, further building battery packs, conducting functional tests, and analyzing and documenting test results. They will ensure the reliability, safety, and quality of batteries through rigorous testing protocols while collaborating with cross-functional teams to address performance challenges and implement effective solutions.

Qualifications

• Educational qualifications in electrochemical engineering, chemical engineering, or related fields
• Experience in battery testing and engineering (lead acid / nickel cadmium / zinc ion / lithium ion)
• Analytical mindset for diagnosing and troubleshooting performance issues
• Strong organizational and documentation skills for reporting test results
• Familiarity with battery technologies or electrochemical testing methods
• Hands-on experience with testing equipment (neware) and other tools is an advantage
