Job SummaryThe Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving beverages as per brand standards while ensuring excellent guest service, hygiene, and responsible alcohol service. The role focuses on maintaining bar operations, inventory control, and a high standard of cleanliness and presentation.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages as per standard recipes and outlet guidelines.
- Provide courteous, prompt, and professional service to all guests.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the bar counter, back bar, and storage areas.
- Ensure correct portion control and minimize wastage.
- Check guest age and follow responsible alcohol service policies.
- Handle bar cash, billing, and POS operations accurately (where applicable).
- Monitor stock levels and inform the supervisor of replenishment requirements.
- Assist in stock receiving, bar setup, and closing procedures.
- Adhere to grooming, hygiene, and safety standards at all times.
- Support outlet operations during peak hours and events.
Skills & Competencies- Good knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, and beers
- Strong communication and guest-handling skills
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Attention to detail and presentation
- Team player with a positive attitude
Qualification & Experience- Minimum education: Diploma / Bachelor
- Bartending certification is an added advantage
- 13 years of relevant experience preferred (freshers may be considered based on skill)
