Role Description The Barista role at Block Two Coffee is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. The Barista will prepare and serve espresso-based drinks and other beverages to consistent quality standards, handle food preparation for café items, and maintain a clean, organized work area. Day-to-day responsibilities include operating coffee equipment, managing orders at the counter, processing payments, and engaging with guests in a friendly, professional manner. The Barista will also help restock supplies, support opening and closing duties, and collaborate with the team to uphold the cafés atmosphere and service standards.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Barista skills, including experience with espresso machines, brewing methods, and beverage preparation.
• Candidates should possess Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills to create a welcoming environment and build rapport with guests.
• Candidates should possess clear Communication skills for interacting with customers and coordinating with team members.
• Candidates should possess Food Preparation skills with attention to hygiene, safety, and quality standards.
• Prior experience in a café or hospitality setting is preferred, with a focus on reliability, punctuality, and teamwork.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, work flexible shifts, and manage peak hours calmly and efficiently.
