Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as a Bar Captain located in Chennai. The Bar Captain will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the bar, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, and maintaining quality standards. Additionally, the Bar Captain will manage the bar staff, handle customer inquiries, maintain inventory, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. The role also involves training new staff, promoting sales, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for patrons.
Qualifications
- Excellent Customer Service and Communication skills
- Strong knowledge and experience in Food & Beverage management
- Ability to train and mentor staff effectively
- Sales skills with the ability to promote and upsell products
- High level of organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
- Experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is a plus
- Relevant certifications or a degree in hospitality management are advantageous
