Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Baker and Pastry Specialist based in Ranchi. The role involves preparing and producing high-quality baked goods such as bread, cookies, and pastries, adhering to standard recipes and ensuring consistency. The specialist will also handle the setup, maintenance, and cleaning of bakery equipment and workspaces. Responsibilities extend to supervising the baking process, checking inventory, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, and maintaining a creative approach to introducing new recipes and designs.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Bakery and Baking techniques, with a strong practical understanding of the baking process
- Expertise in Food Preparation, focusing on precision and quality in culinary practice
- Experience in creating and customizing Cookies and Bread to ensure a variety of high-quality baked products
- Knowledge of food safety standards and the ability to maintain hygiene and cleanliness in the workplace
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to innovate and craft new recipes or designs for baked goods
- Previous experience in a commercial bakery or a related culinary role is advantageous
- A culinary certification or relevant professional training in bakery and pastry arts is highly preferred
