Backup Specialist (Avamar, Veeam C Commvault)

Job Description: We are seeking a Mid-Level Enterprise Backup Specialist with strong hands-on experience in Dell EMC Avamar, Veeam Backup C Replication, and Commvault as primary enterprise backup and recovery platforms.

This role focuses on administering, monitoring, and optimizing large-scale backup and disaster recovery environments, while working closely with infrastructure, application,

storage, and cloud teams to ensure data protection, compliance, and recoverability across the enterprise.

Required Experience C Qualifications

• 4–7 years of enterprise backup administration experience
• Strong hands-on expertise with Dell EMC Avamar, Veeam Backup C Replication, and Commvault
• Experience with Data Domain integration, deduplication technologies (Avamar/DD Boost, Commvault DDB)
• Strong understanding of enterprise backup, restore, replication, and disaster recovery concepts
• Windows and Linux system administration experience
• Familiarity with SAN/NAS storage, tape libraries, and D2D / D2D2T backup architectures
• Backup and restore experience for enterprise applications:
• SQL Server
• Oracle
• SAP HANA
• Microsoft Exchange
• VMware
• Experience using ticketingtools and ITIL-based support processes
• Strong documentation, communication, and cross-team collaboration skills
