Backup Administrator

Must-Have

• Good Technical Troubleshooting ,interpersonal skills
• Install,configure and maintain Netbackup server and client in complex enterprise environment.Provide L2/L3 tier support for backup server related issues as required.
• Candidate should have strong experience in veritas Netbackup as a primary skill and Commvault as a secondery performig backup,recovery,troubleshooting ,performing proactive maintenance and optimizing performance.
• Ability to correlate incidents trend into problem management and execute permenant solution.
• Plan and execute upgrades,patches and enhancement to the netbackup environment.
• Should be able to provide knowledge tranfer within team related to Backup technology.
• Should have working knowledge of Data Domain and physical Tape Library.
• Good-to-Have 1.Good network and server infra technology background
• Experience in OS,Network and other Backup Applcation will be additional advantage
• Knowledge in Backup Automation and storage domain.
• Should have good knowledge of ISO standard & ITIL process
• Good Presentation skill & Documentation activity

• Day to day Operations support for Veritas Netbackup and Commvault Application
• Providing L2/L3 troubleshooting for backup operations failure
• Failure logs creation and analysis
• Ability to learn and adapt new technologies in backup Solution.
• Participate indisaster recovery planning and testing activities.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure backups are properly integrated with other INFRA components such as storage, network and security.
• Create and maintain netbackup Policies ,schedule and backup jobsto ensure data is backed up according to established business requirements.
