Backup Administrator (L2) with expertise in Commvault v11.36, EMC Networker, and Avamar v19.9.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage backup & recovery for:
- File Systems, SAP DB, SQL DB, EC2 Snapshots, and Image-level backups
- Handle DR setup and perform DR testing for platforms like SAP HANA, SAP ORA
- Administer AWS-based backup environments
- Deploy AVE/DDVE for backup & replication
- Configure vProxy and implement backup solutions across new locations
- Daily resolution of backup failures
- Weekly coordination meetings for backup issues and planning
- Monthly reporting and strategic action planning
- Escalation handling and change management support
- Server migration between backup tools
- Backup server decommissioning
- End-to-end backup configuration and management
