Backend Lead

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Backend Lead with 7+ years of experience in building scalable backend systems using Python, Java, and SQL. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in backend development, data handling, and service integration. Experience with Langchain or Langraph is a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Python and Java.
2. Work with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) to design efficient schemas and write optimized SQL queries.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (frontend, product, data) to deliver robust, scalable solutions.
4. Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews.
5. Implement unit and integration tests to ensure system reliability.
6. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
7. Contribute to technical documentation and deployment processes.
8. Stay current with backend best practices, tools, and emerging technologies.

Required Skills:

1. 7+ years of professional experience in backend development.
2. Strong programming skills in Python and Java.
3. Solid understanding of SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
4. Experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs.
5. Familiarity with version control systems, especially Git.
6. Good understanding of software development life cycle and agile methodologies.

Nice to Have:

1. Experience or familiarity with Langchain or Langraph.
2. Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
3. Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker.
4. Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and basic DevOps practices.
