Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Backend Intern. As a Backend Intern, you will work on server-side development tasks, writing and maintaining efficient code, implementing back-end services, and collaborating with front-end and design teams to integrate user interfaces with backend infrastructure. This role is currently unpaid until funding is secured, offering a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience and enhance technical and professional skills while working in a dynamic environment.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Backend Development, including expertise in core programming languages like Python, Java, or Node.js
- Knowledge of database management and query languages such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
- Experience with APIs, RESTful services, and server-side frameworks
- Understanding of version control systems such as Git
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to break down complex tasks
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in a remote environment
- Passion for learning emerging technologies and applying them creatively
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields
