Role Description

We are looking for a Backend Intern (Data Engineering & Telemetry) to work on building data pipelines and metrics systems for our network infrastructure.

This role focuses on collecting, processing, and structuring telemetry data using Prometheus and backend systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data collection pipelines
• Work with Prometheus (metrics, scraping, exporters)
• Integrate telemetry from systems and APIs
• Design and structure metrics for monitoring
• Debug and improve data pipelines
• Collaborate with backend and DevOps teams

Qualifications

• Students or recent graduates (CS, IT, or related)
• Programming skills (Python preferred)
• Basic understanding of APIs and data flow
• Familiarity with Linux systems
• Basic networking knowledge (IP, metrics)
• Knowledge of Prometheus is a plus

Compensation & Opportunity

This is a 3-month unpaid internship focused on real-world experience.
