As a Backend Engineer, you will work closely with product managers, designers, and frontend engineers to deliver cutting-edge solutions for our healthcare workflow platform. You'll leverage your strong experience in Python/Django to architect and implement robust backend systems that ensure seamless performance, scalability, and reliability. Working knowledge of Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud deployment is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize your expertise in Django and Python for robust back-end development and scalable architecture.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, product managers, and UX/UI designers, to deliver high-quality and impactful healthcare solutions.
• Design and implement efficient APIs and interfaces for seamless integration between internal services and front-end systems.
• Ensure code quality, conduct code reviews, and actively participate in troubleshooting and debugging to maintain product excellence.
• Optimize applications for maximum performance, reliability, and scalability while ensuring a secure and maintainable codebase.
• Contribute to architectural and design discussions, providing valuable insights and suggestions for improvements.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices to continually enhance development processes and methodologies.
• Actively participate in sprint planning, estimation, and progress tracking.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
• 2-4 years of working experience in backend development with expertise in technologies such as Django, Python, and related frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of Python programming language and its best practices.
• Experience with designing RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services.
• Working experience in developing, building, and deploying web services with Django.
• Experience with database technologies, such as PostgreSQL, Redis, and in designing and optimizing database schemas.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker containerization, and deploying on Cloud Servers.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex applications.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
