Backend Engineer

This is a full-time, remote role for a Backend Engineer. The Backend Engineer will design, develop, and maintain scalable back-end systems, ensuring system performance and reliability. The position involves writing clean and efficient code, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate systems seamlessly. The role also includes contributing to the architectural design and development of backend applications, facilitating effective data flow, and ensuring adherence to best practices in coding and deployment.

• Strong expertise in Back-End Web Development and Software Development
• Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and related practices
• Experience with Front-End Development and programming fundamentals
• Knowledge of scalable system design and microservices architecture
• Familiarity with modern frameworks, databases, APIs, and cloud technologies
• Ability to problem-solve complex technical challenges and debug efficiently
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• Experience with high-compliance environments (SOC 2, GDPR, ISO 27001, etc.) is a plus
• Strong communication skills and capability to work collaboratively within remote teams
