What you'll do :

  • Lead best practice in clean and effective code, and overall product quality.
  • Understand company strategy and business, design, implement and continuously improve complex backend system to support large volume SaaS system with complex business scenarios, with high security, performance, scalability and testability.
  • Engage in defining, developing, and managing software development models, fostering collaboration with colleagues across various departments and time zones to address challenges effectively.
  • Assume full responsibility for the development, testing, implementation, maintenance, and customer support aspects of your projects.
  • Thoroughly document technical designs, code, and configurations to facilitate maintenance and future development efforts

What you bring :

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field, with an expert-level foundation in data structures, algorithms, distributed systems, and software design principles
  • 8+ years of hands-on software engineering experience with mastery in Java, including deep understanding of JVM internals, memory management, and performance tuning
  • Expert-level knowledge of Spring Boot and microservices architecture, with proven experience designing and operating large-scale distributed systems proficiency in Kafka, Spring Framework, and Tomcat
  • Mastery of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and enterprise software architecture, with the ability to define and enforce architectural standards across teams
  • Extensive experience designing, building, and governing RESTful APIs and web services at scale
  • Advanced knowledge of relational databases, including MySQL, Oracle, or SAP HANA, with expertise in query optimization, schema design, and data modeling
  • Strong command of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tooling, and engineering best practices, including Git, Jenkins, and Continuous Delivery
  • Proven ability to leverage AI-assisted tools to elevate team productivity, code quality, and engineering velocity
  • Exceptional engineering discipline with an unwavering focus on code quality, maintainability, scalability, and long-term technical sustainability
  • Adaptable and continuously learning, with the ability to quickly evaluate and adopt emerging technologies to address evolving business needs
  • Strong ownership mindset with a track record of driving complex, cross-functional technical initiatives from inception to production
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical decisions clearly to both engineering teams and business stakeholders

Nice-to-Have

  • Hands-on experience with AI agent development and LLM-based application design
  • Background in Security & Compliance domains, including identity and access management, data audit, data retention management, or credential management
  • Demonstrated experience mentoring senior engineers, leading architectural reviews, and shaping engineering culture within a team or organization
