Key responsibilities
- Work closely with Application owners to understand business requirements and design and develop solutions
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software and new user-facing features in products.
- Manage individual priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Build scalable, fast and modular web applications using AWS services
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. (Master's degree a plus)
- 3+ years of experience as a Backend Developer, with strong proficiency in Java and Python.
- Experience with Spring Boot and microservice architecture principles.
- Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and document RESTful APIs using Java and Python technologies.
- Experience with relational databases (SQL) and NoSQL databases, including querying and scripting.
- Comfort and experience developing on AWS cloud platforms utilizing relevant services.
- Knowledge of AWS cloud services, Data-Lake, Glue / Python/ PySpark/ API/
- Expertise in at least one popular Python framework (such as Django, Flask, or Pyramid).
- Strong understanding of fundamental computer science concepts like algorithms and data structures.
- Proficiency in Git version control and experience with DevOps practices.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Experience with frontend frameworks and libraries (e.g., Angular).
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- AWS Developer certification.
