About The Role
This role is hands-on and central to everything we're building, from automated site generation to user dashboards, AI-driven insights, and payment integrations.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain the core backend platform using PHP (Laravel) and MySQL.
- Build and manage RESTful APIs to power mobile apps, dashboards, onboarding flows, and third-party integrations.
- Optimize database queries, implement caching, and improve backend performance to handle large-scale traffic.
- Support modules like:
- Auto website creation from business data
- Domain name management and verification
- Multi-language site deployment
- In-app upgrades, subscription billing, and payment flow
- Collaborate with front-end and mobile developers to ensure seamless data exchange and great user experience.
- Implement and support internal tools for analytics, lead scoring, and performance reporting.
- Ensure backend systems are secure, scalable, and well-documented.
- Work with DevOps to manage deployments on LEMP stack (Linux, Nginx, MySQL, PHP).
- Stay updated with latest Laravel releases, PHP performance tweaks, and modern backend practices.
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience in PHP and the Laravel framework
- Hands-on experience with MySQL/PostgreSQL and designing efficient database schemas
- Proven experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs, familiarity with OAuth 2.0, cURL, and queue workers
- Proficiency in Linux server administration, Nginx configuration, and basic shell scripting
- Experience with deployment tools, Git workflows, and CI/CD pipelines
- Ability to debug and maintain large legacy codebases and improve system reliability
- Creative problem solver with an ownership mindset and strong communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience integrating AI/ML features into backend services
- Familiarity with Stripe/PayPal or other payment gateway APIs and subscription billing flows
- Experience implementing analytics, monitoring, or performance instrumentation
- Previous work on high-traffic, scalable systems and caching strategies
Compensation
Rs. 2,50,000 to Rs 6,00,000 LPA basis experience
