Role Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled Backend Developer with 5–6 years of experience and strong expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, AWS, and MongoDB.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with ATS integrations such as SAP SuccessFactors, JobAdder, iCIMS, and Oracle HCM Cloud, and should be comfortable working on workflows like job requisitions, candidate applications, interview statuses, and hiring pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js & TypeScript
- Build and manage high-performance RESTful APIs
- Work with MongoDB for schema design, optimization, and data management
- Deploy and manage applications on AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, API Gateway)
- Integrate with ATS platforms:
- SAP SuccessFactors
- JobAdder
- iCIMS
- Oracle HCM Cloud
- Develop and maintain third-party integrations and external APIs
- Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and stakeholders
- Participate in system design and architecture discussions
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems
- Ensure code quality through best practices, testing, and documentation
Daily Responsibilities
- Work independently on assigned backend development tasks
- Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning
- Communicate progress, blockers, and updates clearly
- Interact with clients/customers for requirement understanding
- Optimize existing APIs and backend systems
- Monitor integration performance and resolve issues proactively
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for timely delivery
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5–6 years of backend development experience
- Strong proficiency in Node.js & TypeScript
- Hands-on experience with MongoDB (schema design, queries, performance tuning)
- Good knowledge of AWS services and cloud architecture
- Strong understanding of REST APIs & microservices architecture
- Experience with ATS integrations & workflows
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication skills (client-facing experience preferred)
Good To Have (Preferred Skills)
- Experience with integration tools/platforms (middleware / iPaaS)
- Knowledge of webhook-based integrations & event-driven architecture
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines & DevOps practices
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum environments
- Experience with AI-assisted engineering tools
