About The Role
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying backend services and APIs that power our web applications and software solutions. Your expertise will contribute to building scalable, secure, and maintainable systems that support our innovative platforms. Working closely with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and product managers, you will participate throughout the entire product lifecycle—from initial development to deployment and continuous improvement. Qualifications
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, preferably from Tier 1 or Tier 2 universities. Up to one year of hands-on experience in backend development using Node.js in production environments is required, with familiarity in microservices architecture. Strong proficiency in server-side frameworks such as Express.js or Nest.js is essential. Candidates should have experience working with databases like DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB, and infrastructure technologies including RabbitMQ, Kafka, SQS, Redis, and ElasticSearch. Knowledge of AWS cloud services such as S3, Cognito, API Gateway, and ElasticSearch is highly desirable. Proficiency with Docker for containerization and Kubernetes for orchestration, along with experience in writing unit and integration tests using Jest or similar frameworks, is necessary. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication are critical. Familiarity with front-end technologies like React (Redux, React Router) is a plus, but not mandatory.
Responsibilities
The core responsibilities of this role include contributing to the development of new features and enhancements for our web platform, ensuring high performance and responsiveness. You will architect and implement robust backend services, APIs, and server-side logic to meet project requirements. Collaborating with cross-functional teams—including UX/UI designers and product managers—you will help deliver seamless user experiences. Conducting code reviews and troubleshooting complex issues will be part of your routine to optimize application performance and reliability. Staying updated with emerging technologies and industry trends is essential to continuously improve our tech stack. You will also design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment and testing processes, ensuring smooth integration and delivery. Managing and optimizing AWS cloud infrastructure for scalability, security, and high availability will be a key aspect of your role. Additionally, mentoring junior developers and supporting their professional growth will be part of your responsibilities, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment.
