Backend Developer (AI Agentic)

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Backend Developer (AI Agentic) based in Hyderabad. The Backend Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining backend systems, ensuring they are robust and scalable. The role involves working with a talented team to integrate AI solutions, optimize performance, and provide seamless interactions between users and the platform. Daily tasks include writing clean, efficient code, collaborating with front-end developers, and participating in design and code reviews.

Education:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Experience:

• 3–7 years of hands-on experience in backend development (Node.js, Typescript, or similar).
• Proven experience in designing, building, and scaling distributed systems and microservices architectures.
• Strong background in databases (both SQL and NoSQL).
• Demonstrated expertise in API development (REST & GraphQL).

Technical Expertise:

• Cloud deployment knowledge (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with message queues (Kafka, SQS, SNS, Pub/Sub)
• Understanding of system security best practices and performance optimization.

Good to Have:

• Knowledge of event-driven architectures.
• Experience with AI/ML API integrations, OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini
• Experience with framework like LangChain or LlamaIndex
• Exposure to authentication & authorization frameworks (OAuth2, JWT, SSO).
• Previous experience in a startup or product-based company with large-scale systems.

• Ability to work in cross-functional teams (Tech, Product, DevOps).
• Passion for clean, scalable, and maintainable code.
• Good communication and mentoring skills.
