Role Overview: Node.js Developer

We are seeking a talented and motivated Node.js Developer to join our Engineering team in

Gurugram (Udyog Vihar, ENKAY Towers). You will play a key role in building scalable

backend services, APIs, and integrations that power our Agentic AI platform. This role is ideal

for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, innovation-driven startup environment.

Key Responsibilities

Backend Development

Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Node.js with Hono.js or

Express.js.

Build and manage RESTful APIs to power applications and AI workflows.

Implement microservices architecture with reliable service-to-service

communication.

Database & Storage

Design and optimize database schemas in PostgreSQL and SQL.

Manage data migrations, indexing, and query performance.

Use Redis for caching and session management.

Messaging & Event-Driven Systems

Implement and integrate message buses like Kafka or RabbitMQ for

event-driven communication.

Ensure reliability, scalability, and fault-tolerance in distributed systems.

Performance & Security

Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and reliability.

Implement caching strategies, load balancing, and error handling.

Ensure data security and compliance across all backend systems.

Collaboration & Code Quality

Work closely with frontend, AI/ML, and product teams for end-to-end feature

delivery.

Participate in code reviews, enforce coding standards, and contribute to best

practices.

Write unit, integration, and performance tests to ensure quality and stability.

DevOps & Deployment

Contribute to CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment.

Work with Docker/Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.

Monitor and troubleshoot production systems for uptime and reliability.

Qualifications & Skills

Proven experience as a Node.js Developer (25 years).

Strong proficiency in JavaScript & TypeScript.

Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, SQL, and Sequelize ORM.

Experience with Redis for caching and performance optimization.

Strong knowledge of REST API design and implementation.

Experience using Hono.js or Express.js frameworks.

Must have knowledge of message buses (Kafka or RabbitMQ).

Exposure to microservices architecture and scalable backend design.

Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

Strong problem-solving skills, debugging abilities, and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
