About the Role:
We're looking for amid-level Backend Engineerto join our founding team. You'll own backend systems, APIs, and infra on AWS. You'll be solving problems across scalability, fraud detection, and real-time data processing with huge ownership from day one.

- Location: On-site, South Delhi
Responsibilities:
- Design and build scalableAPIs and microserviceswithNode.js/NestJS (serverless on AWS Lambda)
- Architect and maintainsecure, high-performance backend systems
- Work with large datasets acrossPostgres, MongoDB, Redis, and integrate event-driven systems withKafka
- Implement and optimizefraud detection & prevention logicto protect platform integrity
- Set upmonitoring and alerting systemsfor reliability, performance, and security
- Collaborate with frontend (React Native, Next.js, Reanimated, Redux Toolkit, React Query) to deliver seamless experiences
- Ensure compliance withdata protection and security best practices
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation
Requirements:
- 24 years of experience in backend roles (consumer or transactional products)
- Strong expertise inNode.js/NestJSand API design (REST/GraphQL)
- Hands-on experience deploying toAWS(Lambda, RDS, S3, CloudFront, infra automation)
- Strong working knowledge ofPostgres, Redis, MongoDBin production
- Experience withKafkaor similar messaging systems
- Understanding offraud detection algorithms, real-time data processing, and system security(preferred)
- Solid grasp ofdata structures, algorithms, and system design
- Comfortable in afast-paced startupwith ownership of end-to-end delivery
