Job Title: Academic Counselor / Inside Sales Executive EdTech (B2C Admissions)

Location: Mumbai (On-site)

Boston Institute of Analytics (BIA) is hiring Academic Counselors / Inside Sales Executives to drive student enrollments for our career-focused programs in Data Science, AI, Finance, Cybersecurity, and Analytics.

This is a B2C admissions sales role. You'll work with warm leads, counsel students on career outcomes, and convert inquiries into enrollments through structured follow-ups.

What You'll do

  • Handle inbound and outbound student inquiries through calls, WhatsApp, emails, Zoom, and in-person counseling sessions
  • Provide one-to-one academic counseling and career guidance to students and working professionals exploring upskilling programs
  • Clearly explain course structure, curriculum, learning outcomes, fees, batch schedules, eligibility, and placement support
  • Act as a trusted career advisor, mapping student goals to the right program in Data Science, AI, Finance, Cybersecurity, and Analytics
  • Drive lead qualification, nurturing, follow-ups, and closures across the admissions funnel
  • Convert warm leads into enrollments using inside sales techniques, objection handling, and consultative selling
  • Manage the end-to-end admissions process, from initial inquiry to enrollment confirmation and onboarding
  • Maintain accurate lead activity, follow-up notes, conversion status, and student interactions in CRM tools
  • Meet and exceed monthly enrollment, revenue, and conversion targets
  • Coordinate closely with marketing, operations, and academic teams to improve lead quality and student experience
  • Participate in online webinars, info sessions, open houses, and counseling events to support enrollments
  • Stay updated on EdTech trends, job market demands, certifications, and career pathways to deliver informed guidance

Who Should Apply

  • 1-4 years experience in EdTech Inside Sales, Academic Counseling, or Admissions
  • Strong communication and persuasion skills
  • Comfortable with targets, objections, and closures
  • Experience with CRM, lead management, or tele-sales
  • Candidates from coaching institutes, training academies, or online education platforms preferred
