About the Role
We're hiring a B2B Content Writer who can do more than write well — you'll build content that ranks, answers, gets cited by AI engines, and moves enterprise buyers through the funnel. You'll own long-form and short-form output across blogs, thought leadership, social, sales enablement, and ABM campaigns, working directly with demand generation, SEO, and product marketing at HONO.
This is not a ghostwriting or execution-only role. You'll bring strategic thinking to every brief — understanding where a piece sits in the funnel, who the buyer is, and what it needs to do commercially. You use LLMs to accelerate, not to replace judgment. If you need heavy editing and hand-holding on every draft, this isn't the role. Key Responsibilities
Long-Form & SEO Content
- Write SEO-optimised long-form content — blogs, guides, whitepapers, and pillar pages — targeting B2B SaaS and enterprise HR buyers across TOF, MOF, and BOF
- Build topical authority clusters: research keyword universes, map content to funnel stages, and execute at consistent publishing velocity
- Optimise existing content for search intent, E-E-A-T signals, and featured snippet capture
- Work with the SEO lead to hit organic traffic and ranking targets, not just word count
AEO — Answer Engine Optimisation
- Write content structured to win featured snippets, People Also Ask boxes, and knowledge panels
- Format articles with Q&A sections, definition blocks, and structured schema-ready copy
- Build a question-first content framework targeting high-volume B2B HR and payroll queries
GEO — Generative Engine Optimisation
- Write content that is citation-worthy for ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Copilot responses
- Structure claims, statistics, and definitions so they are unambiguously extractable by LLMs
- Track and improve HONO's brand mention rate in AI-generated answers
Social Media & Thought Leadership
- Write LinkedIn posts, carousels, and executive ghostwriting content for HONO leadership
- Translate complex product and industry topics into scroll-stopping social copy for a senior B2B audience
- Develop a consistent content voice and editorial calendar across LinkedIn and other relevant platforms
Enterprise & ABM Content
- Write industry-specific content for GCC verticals: manufacturing, oil & gas, retail, facility management, hospitality, and IT/staffing
- Build sales enablement assets — battlecards, one-pagers, case study narratives, email sequences, and proposal copy
- Partner with ABM campaigns to produce account- and persona-specific content at scale
LLM-Augmented Workflow
- Use LLMs (Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity) as active research and drafting accelerators — not as content generators you lightly edit
- Build and maintain prompt libraries for repeatable content formats: blogs, social posts, email sequences, outlines
- Stay ahead of AI content best practices and bring new workflow ideas to the team proactively
Requirements
- 3–6 years of B2B content writing experience, with at least 2 years in SaaS or enterprise software
- Demonstrable SEO knowledge — keyword research, on-page optimisation, content briefs, internal linking — not just surface-level familiarity
- Working knowledge of AEO (snippet optimisation, schema, Q&A formatting) and GEO (LLM citation strategy)
- Experience writing for enterprise buyers: CHROs, CXOs, IT heads, procurement, or finance stakeholders
- Strong LinkedIn content portfolio — long-form posts, carousels, or executive ghostwriting samples
- Comfortable using LLMs as a core workflow tool, with the judgment to know when AI output needs to be rebuilt from scratch
- HR tech, payroll, workforce management, or enterprise SaaS experience is a strong plus
- Self-starter — you manage your own content calendar, flag blockers early, and hit deadlines without chasing
