Job Description

ROLE SUMMARY

We are looking for a high-ownership, revenue-focused B2B Lead Generation Specialist who can independently generate, qualify, nurture, and convert leads using platforms like Indiamart, Alibaba, TradeIndia, Global Sources, and other B2B channels.

This is not a typical executive/coordination role the person will be responsible for end-to-end business acquisition, including creating visibility, driving inquiries, managing responses, negotiating, and converting inquiries into real orders.

The goal is simple: Consistent high-quality leads Conversions Sales Revenue growth.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

Experience

1-2 years hands-on experience with Indiamart, Alibaba, or B2B portals.

Strong track record of closing B2B deals (India or export).

Experience handling categories like FMCG, industrial products, handicrafts, home & kitchen, food, apparel, or similar is a plus.

Skills

Excellent communication (written + verbal).

Strong negotiation, objection handling, and deal closure ability.

Fast response time & discipline in CRM management.

Ability to handle 4080+ inquiries per day.

Familiar with export documentation (bonus, not mandatory).

High energy, self-driven mindset comfortable with targets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Lead Generation (Full Ownership)

Create, manage, and optimise company catalog/profile on Indiamart, Alibaba, TradeIndia, Global Sources, ExportersIndia, etc.

Ensure listings are accurate, updated, keyword-rich, and competitive.

Daily monitoring of inquiries, buyer requests, and new opportunities.

Respond within 510 minutes to hot leads for maximum conversion.

2. Lead Qualification & Response Management

Filter genuine buyers vs non-serious inquiries.

Ask the right qualification questions (MOQ, budget, target market, delivery timelines, payment terms).

Maintain a structured CRM for all leads, follow-ups, and movement in the funnel.

3. Sales Conversion

Share product catalog, pricing sheets, samples, and proposals.

Conduct negotiations on MOQ, pricing, delivery, and payment terms.

Coordinate with internal team for quotations and ensure timely dispatch of proforma invoices.

Close orders and achieve monthly sales targets through B2B channels.

4. Marketplace Performance & Optimization

Improve profile ranking and visibility using platform best practices.

Track competitor listings, pricing, and response strategies.

Maintain high response rate & strong buyer feedback score on platforms.

Run paid Indiamart/Alibaba promotions to boost inquiries.

5. Coordination & Execution

Work closely with product, sourcing, and production teams to provide buyer-specific solutions.

Ensure accurate order processing, shipment preparation, and documentation support.

Proactively follow up for repeat orders and build long-term B2B relationships.

6. Reporting & Data Ownership

Maintain daily/weekly MIS for inquiries, conversions, and revenue.

Track full funnel metrics:

Leads received

Leads qualified

Samples sent

Quotations shared

Orders closed

Revenue/month

Present insights on improving conversion and increasing sales.

The role will be evaluated through:

Lead Response Time

Lead Qualification Rate

Conversion Rate (Inquiry Order)

Monthly Revenue from B2B channels

Repeat Order Ratio

Profile ranking & response ratings on Indiamart/Alibaba

CRM accuracy & follow-up discipline
