An Azure Solution Architect is a key player in designing, implementing, and managing cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure. They bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation, ensuring that Azure-based systems are secure, scalable, and reliable. As an Azure Solution Architect, you'll collaborate with stakeholders, lead architectural decisions, and drive successful cloud adoption.
Responsibilities
- Solution Design and Implementation:
- Design and Deploy: Create scalable and efficient Azure solutions for various applications, considering factors like performance, security, and compliance.
- Cloud Strategy: Collaborate with stakeholders to define cloud strategies and architecture, aligning them with business goals.
- Security and Reliability: Ensure the security, reliability, and performance of Azure-based systems.
- Technical Leadership:
- Lead Architectural Decisions: Provide technical leadership to development teams, guiding them in choosing the right Azure services and components.
- Hands-On Implementation: Execute hands-on implementation of proposed solutions, working closely with development and deployment teams.
- Best Practices: Share engineering methodologies, standards, and best practices with team members.
Skills Required
- Education: A Master's or Bachelor's degree in computer science.
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in a similar position and overall experience of 8+ years
- Azure Expertise:
- Architecture and Design proficiency in Microsoft Azure services, including computing, storage, and security.
- Recommended to have Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification.
- Problem-Solving Abilities:
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical designs.
- Logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Effective communication with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to lead and influence architectural decisions.
