Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled
Azure Infrastructure Engineer with strong experience in
Microsoft Azure Public Cloud and Hyper-V Cluster environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and supporting
hybrid infrastructure environments that integrate on-premise Hyper-V clusters with Azure Public Cloud services. The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and secure cloud and virtualization solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Microsoft Azure Public Cloud infrastructure, including Azure Virtual Machines, networking, storage, and monitoring servicesAdminister and support Hyper-V Cluster environments, including Windows Server Failover Clustering and virtualization management.
- Design, implement, and maintain hybrid cloud environments integrating Azure Public Cloud with on-premise Hyper-V clusters.
- Perform VM deployment, migration, and lifecycle management across on-premise and cloud environments.
- Configure and manage Azure networking components such as Virtual Networks, Subnets, Network Security Groups, and VPN/ExpressRoute connectivity.
- Implement Azure backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability solutions using Azure Backup and Azure Site Recovery.
- Monitor infrastructure performance using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and other monitoring tools.
- Ensure infrastructure security, compliance, and best practices across both Azure and on-prem environments.
- Support cloud migration and modernization initiatives, including migrating workloads from Hyper-V to Azure.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure issues related to virtualization, networking, and cloud services.
Required Skills
- Strong experience with Microsoft Azure Public Cloud services.
- Hands-on experience with Hyper-V virtualization and Hyper-V Cluster environments.
- Knowledge of Windows Server Failover Clustering.
- Experience working in Hybrid Cloud environments (Azure + On-Premise infrastructure).
- Experience with Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Storage, Azure Networking, and Azure Backup.
- Familiarity with Azure Site Recovery, Azure Arc, or Azure Stack HCI is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server administration (2016/2019/2022).
- Experience with cloud monitoring, automation, and infrastructure troubleshooting.
