We are seeking an experienced Azure - Principal Engineer to lead our cloud engineering team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Azure cloud services, architecture, and engineering practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement robust cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure.
- Lead technical discussions and design sessions with stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure high performance and responsiveness of applications.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in the team.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and evaluate their potential impact on our cloud strategy.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in software development and cloud engineering.
- Strong expertise in Azure services including Azure Functions, Azure App Services, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and Azure DevOps.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, . NET, and Python.
- Solid understanding of cloud architecture patterns and best practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Certifications in Azure (e. g. , Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are a plus.
