This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an Azure Operations Engineer in India.
This role offers the opportunity to manage and optimize enterprise-grade Azure cloud environments, ensuring high performance, reliability, and cost efficiency. You will design and implement cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code, develop reusable modules, and monitor operations across multiple workloads. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will enforce cloud security best practices, support compliance initiatives, and troubleshoot operational issues. This position provides a hands-on environment with opportunities to influence cloud architecture, drive automation, and improve overall platform resilience. Your work will directly impact the scalability and reliability of cloud services while supporting business objectives. The role combines technical expertise with proactive problem-solving and continuous improvement in a dynamic, hybrid work environment.
Accountabilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure using Terraform and other IaC tools
- Develop and manage reusable Terraform modules for standardized resource provisioning
- Monitor cloud infrastructure for performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency
- Implement cloud security best practices and compliance standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues across Azure workloads
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support hybrid and remote deployments
- Continuously optimize infrastructure and processes for scalability and automation
Requirements
- 8-12 years of experience in IT infrastructure or cloud operations, with strong Azure expertise
- Bachelor's degree in B.Tech, B.E, or a related technical field
- Hands-on experience with Terraform, Azure resources, and Infrastructure as Code practices
- Knowledge of cloud monitoring, performance tuning, and cost management
- Familiarity with cloud security, compliance standards, and best practices
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment with remote teams
