Required Skills & Experience
- Ideally 10+ years overall deployment/build/support/architecture experience with a minimum of 4+ years in DevOps and .NET development.
- Strong proficiency in C# .NET, Git/VSTS, and PowerShell.
- Experience working with Azure in a solution and deployment role.
- Proficiency in Azure DevOps (or GitHub Actions), Docker, Kubernetes, and IaC tools (Terraform/ARM).
- Experience with Kubernetes and containers.
- Work experience in Windows.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to analyse complex systems incorporating application software, 3rd party libraries, hardware, operating systems, and networks.
- Deep understanding of Quality and Agile principles, processes and build management methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- CI/CD Automation: Design, maintain, and manage YAML-based Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for .NET apps.
- Use Terraform, ARM, or Bicep templates to provision and manage Azure infrastructure (App Services, AKS, SQL).
- Deploy and configure Azure PaaS and IaaS resources, including Azure Key Vault, Networking, and Storage.
- Manage application containerization using Docker and Kubernetes (AKS).
- Scripting experience in either Python, PowerShell, Bash, YML, SQL and/or NoSQL. to automate routine operational tasks.
- Implement monitoring and observability tools like Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
- Familiarity with: Git, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, SQL
- Demonstrated understanding of developing cloud infrastructure solutions that are available, scalable, secure, and maximized for cost.
- Strong communication skills and high emotional intelligence; ability to lead and inspire others.
- Implement security best practices, such as RBAC, managed identities, and secrets management.
