Role Overview
We're seeking a hands-on AzureDevOps Engineer to design, build, and operate CI/CD pipelines andAzure infrastructure with a strong focus on SonarCloud for clean code,
security, and automated quality gates. You'll collaborate with engineering, QA, and security teams to deliver reliablereleases, enforce qualitygates in the pipeline, and drive measurable improvements in code health and platform reliability.
Required Technical Skills
- Experience Core Platform
- 4+ years in DevOps / Platform Engineering with Azure DevOps (YAML and Classic pipelines) and Azure administration.
- CI/CD s Release Automation
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining multi-stage Azure DevOps pipelines (build, test, securityscan, release across Dev QA Staging Prod).
- Standardizing pipeline templates, variable groups, environments, approvals, and gated releases; troubleshooting build and release issues.
- SonarCloud / SonarQube
- Proven experience integrating and administering SonarCloud(or SonarQube) in CI/CD.
- Configuring quality gates, PR decoration, tokens/service connections, and multi - branch analysis to block mergers/deployments when thresholds aren't met.
- Infrastructure s Scripting
- Strong proficiency with Infrastructure as Code: Terraform,Bicep, or ARM templates.
- Scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automationand tooling.
- Azure Containers
- Solid understanding of Azure networking and security (VNets, routing, DNS, WAF/Firewall, Key Vault, RBAC).
- Experience with containers and orchestration: Docker,Kubernetes, and AKS
Nice to have Skills
- Experience with observability tools:
- Azure Monitor,Application Insights, and/or Grafana / Prometheus.
- Relevant certifications, such as:
- Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400), Azure Administrator/Architect, CKA/CKAD, Terraform Associate.
- Exposure to DevSecOpstooling:
- Snyk, OWASP ZAP, DAST, alongsideSonarCloud/SonarQube SAST.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks:
- SOC 2, HIPAA, NIST, etc.
- Experience supporting migration scenarios betweenSonarCloud and SonarQube.
Soft Skills Collaboration
- Clear written and verbal communication; able to coach and influence developers, QA, and security.
- Strong analytical and ownership-driven mindset, with a bias for automation and measurable outcomes.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally to shift left on qualityand security.
- Diligent about documentation, runbooks, and standardization of pipelines and configurations.
- Collaborative participant in post-incident reviewsand continuous improvement efforts.
