- We are seeking a skilled Azure DevOps Administrator to join our team.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customizing Azure DevOps (ADO) board views, workflows, and fields to meet the specific needs of various teams and projects.
- They will also be responsible for integrating Azure Boards with other tools and services, both within the Microsoft ecosystem and third-party applications, to streamline workflows and enhance productivity.
- The role requires a proactive problem-solver capable of diagnosing and resolving issues related to Azure Boards configuration, performance, and integration.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Customize Azure DevOps board views, workflows, and fields to meet team and project-specific requirements.
- Integrate Azure Boards with other Microsoft tools and third-party applications to optimize workflows.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to Azure Boards, such as integration with GitHub, MS Teams, etc.
- Create and manage ADO queries, such as:
- Govern and maintain updates to the core configuration of Azure DevOps.
- Perform data migration and support system consolidation across all Azure DevOps organizations.
- Consult with Project Managers and business teams to optimize their use of ADO.
- Oversee day-to-day management and administration of Azure DevOps, including workflows, user accounts, custom fields, dashboards, reports, and team creation.
- Manage user permissions and review/recommend tools and integrations.
- Ensure data availability at all necessary levels within Azure DevOps for tracking key Agile metrics.
- Create and maintain Azure Kanban boards and generate reports on performance trends for Agile metrics.
- Monitor and manage all integrations to Azure DevOps.
Required Skills (Must-Have) :
- Strong experience as a System Administrator for Azure DevOps.
- Proven experience working with APIs and other tool integrations.
- Expertise in Agile practices and metrics.
- Strong experience with customizing Azure DevOps boards and workflows.
Secondary Skills (Good to Have):
- Knowledge of Agile practices and metrics.
- Experience with report writing using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or other similar platforms.
- Low code/no-code development skills.
Soft Skills:
- Adaptability: Ability to quickly adjust to new technologies, workflows, and environments.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
