Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Azure Data Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, particularly within the Azure ecosystem, and will be responsible for building and maintaining robust data pipelines and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Design and implement data pipelines and ETL processes using Azure Data Factory.
Develop and maintain data models and databases in Azure SQL Database and Azure Synapse Analytics.
Optimize data storage and retrieval solutions for performance and scalability.
Collaborate with data scientists and business analysts to understand data needs and provide solutions.
Ensure data quality and integrity through robust validation and testing processes.
Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows and systems to ensure reliability and performance.
Create documentation for data engineering processes and systems.

Skills and Qualifications

8-13 years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
Strong expertise in Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
Proficient in programming languages such as Python, SQL, and Spark.
Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
Solid understanding of data governance and data security best practices.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools in the context of data engineering.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
