We operate in the Enterprise Cloud & Data Engineering sector, building scalable Azure-based data platforms, analytics pipelines, and business intelligence solutions for large enterprise clients. The role sits in a fast-paced professional services environment delivering data modernization, real-time analytics, and ETL/ELT solutions on Microsoft Azure.
Role: Azure Data Engineer (On-site, India)
Role & Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end data ingestion and transformation pipelines on Azure to support analytics and reporting requirements.
- Develop and optimize PySpark and SQL-based ETL/ELT jobs in Azure Databricks and Synapse to deliver reliable data products.
- Build and maintain data lake architectures using ADLS Gen2, ensuring partitioning, performance, and cost efficiency.
- Implement CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and deployment automation for data platform components to ensure repeatable releases.
- Collaborate with data engineering, analytics, and operations teams to define data contracts, quality checks, and monitoring/alerting.
- Troubleshoot production incidents, implement performance tuning, and document runbooks and best-practice patterns.
