A leading IT services firm operating in the Cloud Data Engineering & Enterprise Analytics sector, delivering Azure-native data platform solutions and scalable analytics pipelines for enterprise customers across finance, retail, and healthcare in India. We build production-grade ETL/ELT flows, data warehouses, and real-time analytics solutions that power reporting, BI, and ML workloads. This is an on-site role based in India focused on hands-on implementation and delivery of Azure data platforms.
Primary Job Title: Azure Data Engineer
Role & Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks to ingest, transform, and load large datasets.
- Develop and optimize data models and data warehouses in Azure Synapse Analytics to support reporting and analytics SLAs.
- Implement data storage solutions on Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 with secure partitioning, lifecycle policies, and cost optimisation.
- Author performant SQL and Spark jobs, tune queries, and troubleshoot pipeline failures to meet ingestion and latency targets.
- Implement CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and automated testing for data solutions using Azure DevOps or equivalent tooling.
- Collaborate with data scientists, BI engineers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into reliable data products and ensure data quality and lineage.
