About The Opportunity
Hiring for a role in Cloud Data Engineering within the Enterprise Cloud & Analytics sector serving large-scale data platforms, real-time analytics, and business intelligence initiatives for enterprise customers across finance, retail, and SaaS domains. This is an on-site role based in India focused on building scalable, secure, and production-ready data pipelines on Microsoft Azure.

Role & Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain end-to-end data ingestion and transformation pipelines on Azure using ADF and Databricks to support batch and near-real-time use cases.
- Develop PySpark jobs and optimized SQL for data cleansing, enrichment, and aggregation; implement Lakehouse patterns on ADLS Gen2 and Delta Lake.
- Implement and tune analytics platforms in Azure Synapse Analytics and Azure SQL to meet performance, cost, and concurrency targets.
- Automate deployments and release pipelines using Azure DevOps and infrastructure-as-code practices (ARM/Terraform) to enable repeatable CI/CD across environments.
- Establish data modeling, partitioning, and indexing strategies; enforce data governance, lineage, and security best practices for cloud data assets.
- Monitor production pipelines, build observability and alerting, troubleshoot incidents, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve root causes quickly.
