We are seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer to join our dynamic team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and implementing data solutions on the Azure platform, with a focus on developing and maintaining efficient data pipelines.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement data solutions on Azure platform.
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes.
  • Optimize data storage and retrieval performance.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data needs.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data lifecycle.
  • Implement security measures for data protection and compliance.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 4-8 years of experience in data engineering or related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Azure Data Services (Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure SQL Database).
  • Experience with data modeling and database design principles.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or SQL.
  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and tools.
  • Knowledge of big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.
  • Understanding of data governance and data quality best practices.
