Description
We are seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and implementing data solutions on Microsoft Azure, with a focus on ETL processes and data quality.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement data solutions on Microsoft Azure using Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure SQL Database.
- Develop and maintain ETL processes to transform and load data from various sources into the Azure cloud.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to provide data solutions that meet business requirements.
- Monitor and optimize data pipelines for performance and reliability.
- Ensure data integrity and quality by implementing best practices in data governance.
Skills and Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in data engineering or related field.
- Strong knowledge of Azure Data services including Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure SQL Database.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or SQL.
- Experience with data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehousing concepts.
- Familiarity with big data technologies such as Azure Synapse Analytics, Hadoop, or Spark.
- Understanding of data governance and data quality best practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
