Description
We are looking for an experienced Azure Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 6-8 years of experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining data solutions on the Azure platform.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement data solutions on the Azure platform
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand their data requirements and develop solutions to meet their needs
- Develop and maintain data pipelines using Azure data services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure SQL Database
- Implement data security and compliance measures to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of data
- Collaborate with other engineers and data scientists to build data models and algorithms for predictive analytics and machine learning
- Monitor and optimize the performance of data solutions to ensure they meet the required SLAs
- Document the design, implementation, and maintenance of data solutions for future reference and knowledge sharing
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 6-8 years of experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining data solutions on the Azure platform
- Strong experience with Azure data services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure SQL Database
- Experience with data modeling, ETL, and data warehousing
- Experience with data security and compliance measures
- Experience with programming languages such as Python and SQL
- Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
