JobDescription:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in Azure data ecosystem, Snowflake, and modern data transformation frameworks. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in Azure Data Factory, DBT, SQL, and Azure DevOps, with a solid understanding of CI/CD implementation for data pipelines. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, DBT, and Snowflake.
- Build and optimize SQL queries, data models, and transformations for analytics and reporting.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps to support automated deployment of data workflows.
- Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Optimize data pipeline performance, reliability, and scalability across cloud environments.
- Ensure best practices in coding standards, version control, testing, and documentation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 7+ years of professional experience in data engineering or related roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- Proficiency in DBT for transformations and modeling.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL and data warehousing concepts.
- Experience working with Snowflake as a cloud data platform.
- Strong exposure to Azure DevOps, particularly CI/CD pipelines for data deployments.
- Solid understanding of cloud architecture and data integration patterns.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications (Optional):
- Experience with Python or other scripting languages.
- Knowledge of DataBricks or other cloud data tools.
- Exposure to Agile delivery environments.
