Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines using Azure Data Factory
- Build scalable data solutions using Azure Databricks and Delta Lake
- Implement real-time data streaming solutions using Apache Kafka
- Develop and optimize data warehousing solutions in Azure Synapse Analytics
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data platforms
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements
- Optimize data workflows for performance and cost efficiency
- Implement best practices for data governance and compliance
- Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline issues
- Document technical designs and data architecture
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Azure data engineering
- Strong expertise in building ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory
- Proficient in Azure Databricks and Spark programming (Python/Scala)
- Experience with Delta Lake architecture and optimization
- Strong knowledge of Apache Kafka for streaming data
- Hands-on experience with Azure Synapse Analytics
- Solid understanding of data modeling, data warehousing concepts
- Experience with SQL and performance tuning
- Knowledge of Azure cloud services and architecture
Preferred Skills
- Azure certifications (Azure Data Engineer Associate, Azure Solutions Architect)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines for data solutions
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps
- Experience with Power BI or other BI tools
- Understanding of data security and compliance standards
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
