Azure Data Engineer Architect

Key responsibilities

• Design end-to-end data architectures on Azure (batch & real-time)
• Define data ingestion, processing, storage, and analytics layers
• Choose the right Azure services based on business needs
• Ensure scalability, security, performance, and cost optimization
• Guide data engineers and review implementation designs
• Work closely with business, analytics, and cloud teams

Data Ingestion: Azure Data Factory, Event Hub, IoT Hub

Processing: Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse (Spark), Stream Analytics

Storage: Azure Data Lake Gen2, Blob Storage, SQL Database

Analytics & BI: Azure Synapse Analytics, Power BI

Security & Governance: Azure Purview, Key Vault, RBAC

DevOps: CI/CD, ARM templates, Terraform
