Data Architect with Azure, Databricks & MS Fabric (Band: P1, Experience: 10 - 14 years)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Data Solution Architect to design Solution and Lead the implementation on Azure, Databricks & MS Fabric (incl Azure Foundry). The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in data Architecting, Solution design and data management practices.

Responsibilities:

Architect end-to-end modern data platforms on Azure, including ADLS, Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric and Azure Purview

Design and optimize lake house architecture using Databricks

Define data sharing through delta sharing protocols

Define data governance strategy and implementation using Unity Catalog

Lead the data modeling strategy (dimensional, transactional ) for enterprise BI and analytics needs.

Define data ingestion(real time, batch ), processing, and governance patterns aligned with industry best practices.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, data scientists, product owners, and business stakeholders.

Establish standards, frameworks, and reusable patterns for enterprise-wide adoption.

Requirements

10-14 years of overall experience in Data & Analytics, with at least 4+ years of hands-on experience in Databricks.

Experience in E2E solution design including data mesh (data products)

Proven expertise in Databricks architecture, Delta Lake, Delta sharing, Unity Catalog, data pipelines, streaming analytics and Spark tuning.

In-depth experience with SQL, Python, and/or PySpark.

Proven experience designing solutions using Microsoft Fabric. Lead the adoption and architecture of Microsoft Fabric, including OneLake, Dataflows Gen2, Notebooks, and Direct Lake Mode

Hands-on knowledge of data governance, lineage, and cataloging tools such as Azure Purview and Unity Catalog

Experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines for data and BI components (e.g., using DevOps or GitHub).
