Hello Data Professionals!

We are looking for a highly skilled  Data Architect with expertise in Azure Databricks to design, build, and optimize scalable data solutions. The role involves defining data architecture, implementing data models, and managing end-to-end data integration across cloud and on-prem systems.
Job Title: Azure Data Architect (Azure Databricks)
Location- Indore, MP
Job Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable data architectures using Azure and AWS (Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, and Streaming solutions)
  • Define logical and physical data models to support business requirements
  • Perform data mapping between source and target systems ensuring data accuracy and consistency
  • Develop and manage ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, AWS Glue, and SSIS packages
  • Integrate data from multiple sources including databases, APIs, and flat files
  • Optimize data pipelines, queries, and storage for performance and cost efficiency
  • Implement data governance, cataloging, and metadata management practices
  • Design and implement backup, disaster recovery, and high availability strategies
  • Support reporting and analytics platforms (e.g., MicroStrategy) with optimized data structures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven solutions
  • Document architecture, data flows, mappings, and best practices

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Data Architect/Data Engineer with Azure Data Platforms
  • Strong expertise in Azure Databricks, ADLS, Azure Synapse, Azure SQL
  • Hands-on experience with SSIS packages and legacy ETL systems
  • Strong knowledge of data modeling, data mapping, and database design (SQL Server)
  • Proficiency in SQL, T-SQL, stored procedures, and performance tuning
  • Experience with ETL/ELT tools (ADF, AWS Glue, SSIS)
  • Experience in migrating on-prem data systems to Azure Cloud
  • Understanding of data warehousing, BI, and analytics concepts
  • Knowledge of data security, governance, and compliance best practices

Preferred Qualifications

  • Azure certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate)
  • Experience with AWS data services
  • Familiarity with data cataloging and metadata tools
