Job Description:

Expertise in vCloud Director, VMware Guests, Templates, OVFs, vMotion, DRS, VMware ESX/vSphere, vCenter support & VMware vRealize Suite

In addition to the above mentioned Skills -

Proficient in installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Windows and Linux servers, including command-line administration.

Ability to handle VMware-related ITSM tickets through ServiceNow

Enhance the security posture of HON SaaS virtual machines VMs and the broader PHE environment by enforcing mandatory security tools and patching across Cloud VMware platforms.

• Validate and ensure comprehensive backup coverage for the PHE Cloud Infrastructure with a primary focus on HON SaaS assets.
• Process and deliver daily operational tasks including handling service requests and incident management to maintain service continuity.
• Participate in Honeywell led operations meetings to facilitate discussions communicate operational challenges and surface risks or issues for collaborative resolution.
• Maintain compliance with defined service level agreements SLAs and performance metrics ensuring timely closure of service requests and incidents.
• Provide evidence and reporting for monthly milestones including closed service request incident lists and KPISLA reports

Knowledge and Skills Required

• Proficient in installation configuration maintenance and troubleshooting of Windows and Linux servers including command line administration.
• Mandatory expertise in vCloud Director as well as strong working knowledge of VMware Guests Templates OVFs vMotion DRS VMware ESX vSphere and vCenter support.
• Handson experience with the VMware vRealize Suite including capacity planning automation and operations functionalities.
• Demonstrated ability to handle VMware related ITSM tickets through ServiceNow with adherence to SLA requirements for incident and request management.
• Strong communication skills capable of driving and delivering tasks independently and collaborating effectively with cross functional teams
