Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Azure Cloud Administrator with hands-on experience in managing Microsoft Azure environments. The candidate will be responsible for provisioning, monitoring, automating, and maintaining Azure infrastructure while ensuring high availability, security, and operational efficiency. This role requires strong troubleshooting abilities along with scripting and automation expertise.
Key Responsibilities
Cloud Infrastructure Management
- Create, configure, and manage Azure resources including:
- Virtual Machines (Windows/Linux)
- Storage Accounts
- Virtual Networks, Subnets, and NSGs
- Load Balancers and related services
- Ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of cloud infrastructure.
- Manage resource utilization and support cost optimization initiatives.
Monitoring & Incident Response
- Monitor Azure environments using native monitoring tools and alerts.
- Respond to incidents, troubleshoot production issues, and restore services within SLA timelines.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive solutions.
- Work closely with application, DevOps, and security teams during incident resolution.
Automation & Scripting
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell and/or Bash.
- Automate provisioning, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance activities.
- Reduce manual operational effort through scheduled and event-driven automation.
Security & Compliance
- Implement and manage Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
- Support patching, updates, and vulnerability remediation.
- Ensure adherence to organizational security policies and compliance requirements.
Documentation & Operations
- Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and troubleshooting guides.
- Participate in change management and deployment processes.
- Continuously improve system reliability and operational efficiency.
