We are looking for an experienced Tanium Administrator / Engineer with strong expertise in Tanium Core Modules, patch management, and automation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing enterprise-scale environments, ensuring system performance, compliance, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and administer Tanium Core Modules (Patch, Deploy, Data, Automate, etc.)
- Handle patch deployment across servers (OS, Database, Middleware)
- Maintain and manage patch lists (creation, updates, and optimization)
- Perform server health checks, monitoring, and troubleshooting
- Develop ad-hoc reports and dashboards for analytics and insights
- Manage tagging strategies and enhancements within Tanium
- Handle actions, future requests, and automation workflows (playbooks)
- Lead advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis (RCA) for incidents
- Drive improvements in performance, compliance, and system optimization
- Participate in change management, risk assessment, and stakeholder communication
- Maintain technical documentation and runbooks aligned with compliance standards
- Manage and prioritize incoming and upcoming requests
Required Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience with Tanium Core Modules
- Deep understanding of Tanium architecture (TDS, Sensors, Action Groups, Client Settings)
- Experience in dashboarding, analytics, and automation
- Knowledge of ITSM processes
- Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills
- Scripting expertise: PowerShell, Bash
- OS expertise: Windows & Linux
- Experience working in large enterprise environments
Certifications (Preferred):
- TCO (Tanium Certified Operator)
- TCA (Tanium Certified Administrator)
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor's / Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
Good to Have:
- Experience with monitoring and alerting tools
- Exposure to automation frameworks and orchestration tools
- Knowledge of security and compliance best practices
