Job Description

As an Azure Cloud Architect, you will be building accelerators for Azure management. Your role will be client-centric, focusing on optimising Azure environments, automating tasks, and developing tailored solutions that expedite and enhance the adoption and management of Azure resources and services. These accelerators will be adaptable, and aligned with best practices, promoting security, compliance, and efficiency within the client's Azure ecosystem. You will be involved in ongoing collaboration with the other service verticals to ensure that accelerators incorporate evolving needs and objectives.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into Azure cloud architecture solutions.
• Provide expertise and leadership regarding solutions for infrastructure and applications in Microsoft Azure
• Work closely with development teams to provide technical guidance and support.
• Design Technicalreference models and roadmaps for Azure cloud implementations
• Identify and recommend the best cloud architecture options and tools to accomplish project goals
• Provide guidance and enforcement methodology for security best practices and compliance standards in the Azure environment.

Primary Skills

• Strong understanding of Azure well-architected framework. ( 5-7Yrs)
• Experience in architecting Public / hybrid cloud solutions with Azure(5-6Yrs)
• Strong understanding of features and capabilities of the Microsoft Cloud Platform ( like Security, Firewalls, Cache, Key Vault, Service Bus, ASR, Networking, Storage etc)
• Understanding of IaC using Bicep/ARM and Terraform (3-4Yrs)
• Experience in desigining services using Containers Services (K8S, AKS, ACS) (3-4yrs)
• Very Good understanding of Cloud observability using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics workspace, and AppInsights (3-4Yrs)

Secondary Skills

• Good knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools (Azure DevOps/GitLab/GitHub)
• Strong understanding of configuration Management and Continous integration with tools like Ansible and Jenkins(1-2Yrs)
• Knowledge of Azure cost management tools, budgeting, and strategies for optimizing cloud costs.
